I admit it was difficult coming up with ideas for movies in 2004. Most had been political thrillers or documentaries about politics. The rest were either sequels or remakes or even sequels to remakes. So, bless M. Night Shamalan for releasing "The Village", one of the few original movies which came out that season. Mind you, it wasn't very good, but it was original. And I've noticed when something is original, it's easy to come up with an idea how to homage it. - Jake
