"One Hot Kitty" ("Catwoman")

"Catwoman" was one, if not the, biggest non-surprises of summer 2004. A movie starring a beautiful actress, wearing a skin-tight leather outfit, moving slowly in constant seductive poses... and not a single straight man on the planet cared. Why? Because the film had no story, no interesting locales, the soundtrack was bland, the supporting cast was even blander, the costume was so hideous it made a Revlon model look ugly, and it committed the biggest sin a comic book movie could do: purposely threw everything from the original source material away. No Batman. No Gotham City. Not even a brief reference to "Batman Returns", the last live-action property the sensual cat burglar appeared in. Three months before the flick was even released, everyone knew it was a bomb.
But on to the picture itself.
When one goes about doing a homage to a character which has endured for decades, the logical decision is to draw a clever, seductive, and wickedly playful pin-up which captures the very essence of Catwoman. And for this website, it made sense to have our most beautiful, voluptuous, and best liked character don the famous feline costume. The problem was Tony and I thought the best liked character was Crispie; not Kari.
Don't blame us though. We asked visitors to this website to send in feedback and we didn't get a single suggestion. So, in all actuality, they have only themselves to blame. - Jake
