Here's a little fact about monkeys: I'm terrible at drawing them. Sure, looking at this picture you'd think otherwise. But I went through sketch after sketch after sketch. If my goal was to draw a bear or a dog or a pig (yes, a pig), then I would have succeeded on my first draft. But roughly an hour later, and by dumb luck, I managed to illustrate something vaguely resembling a simian. However, looking back now, I'm appalled by something else. Is it just me or is Erik doing his best Plastic Man imitation? - Jake
