"A Public Service Announcement"
The reason for this little comic is simple: I detest violence against women. There's no excuse for it and when I hear of such things happening, it troubles me immensely. So when Tony and I found ourselves having to deal with two weeks of pictures for the Blockbuster Gallery that involved Erik fighting with women, I wanted to make sure viewers to this site wouldn't get the wrong impression about me. I love women; to me there's no greater creature on Earth. But sometimes pieces of art I do can lead others to question my beliefs. If anyone found something I've done offensive, then I apologize. The last thing I think in my mind is that women are inferior. So while I tried to lighten this comic strip up with a bunch of gags, the overall message is absolutely serious. Be good to the female sex, period.
By the way - this two page comic was done in just three hours, start to finish. Just thought I'd point that out. ;) - Jake
