Roughly estimating, this homage only took 95 minutes from start to finish.
Seriously, I looked at the list of movies coming out in the third week of May, saw the next entry in the "Wimpy Kid" franchise was the biggest theatrical release, almost immediately realized the best way to homage it was to do up a page in the style of the books, skipped pencils and went straight into inks, before doing up the lettering in Photoshop with a nice Kirstin ITC font. Of course, I then proceeded to download the image into my website and now I'm almost about finished writing the rambling for it.
Like I said, only 95 minutes. That's got to be a record. - Jake
