"Frontage Road to Adventure" ("Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull")

There are four films I've always wanted to cover in this gallery. The Indiana Jones trilogy, specifically "Raiders of the Lost Ark", is one of them. To this day I can't think of a better movie which can top all the memorable scenes, dialogue, and has a better score than Raiders. It's easily one of my top five flicks of all time. But my appreciation doesn't just end with the movie itself. I can fondly remember watching it with my grandparents too, spending countless number of hours pretending to be Indiana Jones as a child, and digging deeper into who this John Williams fellow is; beginning a life-long love of movie soundtracks.
And I'm sorry; he can play a galactic smuggler, a fugitive, the president, or Jack Ryan all his wants, but to me Harrison Ford will always be known as a "professor of archeology, expert on the occult, and obtainer of rare antiquities".
So, when it came time to do "Kingdom the Crystal Skull", there was so many ideas, I contemplated doing two pictures. But in the end, I settled with a fond homage to the Amsel and Dorman movie posters because it was also one of the ideas Tony had in mind as well.
I guess what I like most is how all four movies in the series are represented in some way by how the characters are dressed. True, there are things I might have added now after seeing it inked and colored, but it's still a fine picture in my opinion. - Jake
