"Play Day" ("Daddy Day Care")

I'm sure a lot of people can relate. You know a child between the ages of 4 and 7. You might be their relative or friend; it doesn't matter. This child loves to spend time with you, and you love spending time with them. So, you decide maybe you can do something fun like visit the park, or see a movie, or check out the zoo, or something else they'll enjoy. Important thing is they get out of the house and their parents earn a little break.
But you see, rule #1 is never, ever, give the child an opening.
The second you offer an idea, it's over. You didn't have a chance because in the short amount of time you allowed them to answer, they weren't thinking "yes" or "no". Their answer was already "yes", you dope. They were far beyond that. Instead they were calculating in their mischievous little minds how the two of you would be spending your entire day! And rarely does it ever come cheap.
Yeah, we're fools. They always manage to win. But it's hard to put up a fight when they're so much fun to hang around with. And let's face it; you wouldn't have it any other way. - Jake
