So I got a little over-ambitious. I didn't want to draw Lara Croft in her normal attire nor did I want to try to do a likeness of Angelina Jolie. So I opted to put the character in her rarely-used scuba outfit. That way not only would I be avoiding the easy way out, but it would be less revealing (and yes, I know some of you are going to send me hate mail.)
But there's something to be said about being TOO different. While I was happy with the pencils and inks, it wasn't until I laid down the colors that I realized my mistake. True, for being color-blind I guess I do a pretty decent job coloring. But this didn't come out to my satisfaction. No, I have to say this isn't an outstanding success. It's good, but it could have been so much better. - Jake
