"Blinding Attack"
I'm sorry but this is a really dumb picture. I mean, I think he's a great artist and all but this is Tony at his lowest. And I've told him my feelings about this pic many times before and he knows why.
When he was going through his revamp phase, he had an idea to redo the Eklypse character into something more modern than a pulp-hero. What he came up with was this: just a sillouette of a person. Now I could live with this, but when you add that with the most simplistic background you could do, a cheap photoshop effect, and Erik barely in the panel... if he spent three minutes on this, it was three minutes too much.
So why is this on the website? Because it's since become a classic. This is the picture that both Tony and I strive never to do again.
