"Invasion!"
After a couple of months of drawing everything but Plight, I felt the need to return to the universe that I am so familiar with. Of course as fate would have it I started out by just drawing the other character. I liked the way he looked so I had to add Plight. Since the initial character was so off center that it didn't leave me with much room to add our starring character, I fudged things up a bit. The result is a supporting character who looks much better than the admitedly badly drawn main character.
The background came from frequent discussions between Jake and myself regarding the fact that I am not one for drawing backgrounds. Usually I take the cop out method of drawing a tree or a building front and leaving it at that. This time around I wanted to make it look like all hell was let loose, giving the picture a different meaning than just the two characters together. It still isn't a "professional" quality background, but you have to admit it gives you something to look at.
Oh and that new character... I call him Alec. I may use him again, I may not. We'll see. - Tony
