"Duel of the Fake"

This picture was done roughly a couple of months after "Star Wars: Episode 1 - The Phantom Menance" came out in theaters. So I'm guessing my boy Tony here had seen the movie about four or five times by then; giving him plenty of exposure to draw an accurate depiction of the evil Darth Maul, which he did a bang-up job. When I saw this (and knowing the outcome of the film's light saber battle), I wondered if it meant Erik was going to slice Maul in half. But on the other hand, Tony had drawn 'Gym Suit Plight' so it could easily go the other way. And really, it's a win-win situation either way.
All kidding aside, this is a pretty funny piece. And hey, if you REALLY want the whole experience, do what I'm doing right now and look at it with John Williams "Duel of the Fates" playing on the stereo.
