"Pimp My Place" ("Monster House")
For all the things that is wrong with this picture, I like it for the same number of reasons as well. Most importantly: I drew a house. Yeah, it's not perfect and the scale is quite off but instead of using an existing model or blueprint, I chose to think of one from scratch. And while the rubbers on the tires appear to be cropped from a photo, they're actually 100% computer generated. No joke - I don't how I did it and I sure as hell know I couldn't do it again even if my life depended on it, but somehow I fooled around with photoshop enough to make a realistic rubber effect. Too bad I couldn't do the same to the skull or the flaming background that were pieces of clip art in public domain. If I had any regret on this is that I didn't have more time to tinker with this some more. But then, I get the feeling no amount of time on this could have convinced me otherwise. - Jake
