"Behind The Curtain" ("Charlie And The Chocolate Factory")
Pencil Marks and Ink Smudges: I had no idea what I was going to draw for this picture; even though I had signed up for it at the beginning of the year. I think I volunteered for it due to the fact that I have kids and they might rub off some of their childish delight on me. Well that’s all fine and good, but it still didn't give me any creative ideas.
I had an idea of Erik and Willy Wonka going off on each other, mano-a-mano in a knockdown beat down fight. Then I thought of substituting Erik with Gene Wilder and having the two Willy Wonkas (the second being Johnny Depp of course) going at each other, with Erik watching. I just couldn't come up with anything. I was getting frustrated. I was at my wits end. Then I had a "Youseetimmy" moment. And this picture is what came of it.
I would like to thank my vast movie knowledge for that nice bit of funny and challenge anyone to actually tell me what I am talking about!
Also if anyone makes any Dolly Madison jokes... double Plight-points for you! - Tony
