"One Hot Kitty" ("Catwoman")
It was one of the biggest non-surprises that summer of 2004. Here you had a movie starring an extremely beautiful and talented actress in skin-tight leather moving slowly in seductive pose after pose - and not a single man on the planet even cared. And why was that? Because the movie had no story, it had no interesting locales, the soundtrack was bland, the supporting cast was even blander, the costume was so hideous it made a Revlon model look ugly, and it did the biggest sin a comic book movie could ever do - it purposely threw everything from the comics away. Yes sir, three months before the flick was even released, everyone knew it was a stinker. However, I don't blame Ms. Berry. If you haven't seen "Monster Ball", go out and watch it. The woman is a terrific actress and well deserving of that Oscar. I just can't help but feel a little disappointed, that's all.
Anyhow, getting to the picture...
When one goes about doing a homage to a character that's endured for over 60 years, the only way to pay tribute to Catwoman is to draw a clever, seductive, and wickedly evil picture that captures the essence of the character. And for this website, the most logical conclusion is to have our most beautifully sexy, voluptuous, and best liked character in a Catwoman suit. The problem was I thought the best liked character was CRISPIE; not Kari.
Don’t blame me though. I asked viewers to send me some feedback and I didn't get a single letter so they have only but themselves to blame! Next time send me a line!! *lol*
Seriously though, this has got to be one of the ugliest drawings I've ever done. It's just wrong on so many levels. - Jake
