"I Didn't Do It" ("Bad Boys 2")

This was one of those pictures that we have every summer, the kind where no matter how much we knock our brains, we just can't come up with a reasonable idea. It also happens to be one of those pictures that neither Jake nor I wanted to do, so it stayed unassigned until about a week before deadline. Then suddenly I had this wacky idea to have all the bad guys of the Plight universe standing around a water-cooler discussing their recent routings by our favorite hero (and on a side note, anyone who knows the story of Plight would know that couldn't actually happen). The problem was, I only knew what one arch-enemy looked like (Rahistal) and I admit quite freely that I can't draw him. The other baddies have all been conceived, and probably sketched, but at this point the only person on the planet who has seen them is Jake... and I knew he wasn't gonna give em up. So then what I did was take a couple of people... Darth Vader, cause you know he's evil, and appearing for the very first time on this website: Plight's enemy Maximum Overload. That isn't the way he "really" looks, but all I knew was that he was overweight and missing half an arm. So with that info I drew my approximation.... So I took two bad guys, and just for sh*ts and giggles, threw Plight in as well, and made them all standing in a police line-up. Get it "Bad Boys", a cops reference and a couple of bad boys... not too shabby.
On a side note, this is the very first picture I colored while bottle feeding a one month old baby and talking to Jake via Instant Messenger, all at THE SAME TIME!!! Despite the distractions and contortions required, I have to say the coloring turned out pretty good. All the more proof to my theory that a good color job can improve a sub-par picture. I mean there's the proof, at the top of the page... - Tony
