Not to get down on myself, but I am not a great artist and chances are I never will be. To be truly gifted, I would have to slumped behind a desk drawing morning, noon, and night. But bills need to be paid and so I'm lucky if I can even spend an hour or two a day with pencil in hand. However that doesn't mean I can't take extremely ridiculously chances such as homage the work of Norman Rockwell; undeputably one of the finest illustrators of the 20th century. His paintings are timeless, often memorable, and can relay a message understood by anyone no matter in what part of the world they live in. There is no questionable doubt Mr. Rockwell was one of those gifted artists.
And I decided to homage him. Wow. Either I was very courageous or very delusional. - Jake
