I can’t honestly say why this picture is still up for public viewing except there’s a few things that keeps me from throwing it away. The main subject is a villain named Eli. It was done a few years back and since then, Eli’s design has been significantly revamped. The picture also shows my proportion skills at its worst; namely her oft-kilter stance and her way too narrow waist. Granted my talent has (thankfully!) improved since then, but there’s only so much ‘bad stuff’ an artist will release into the public. The rest are items they wish had never been finished.
So again, why keep it posted? Because this pin-up also has a few elements I don’t normally do. It’s the first (and perhaps the ONLY) drawing I’ve done with a character in my “universe” that doesn’t feature Erik or Kari in any manner. It’s got a background! It’s a bit personal due to my feelings for Valentine’s Day. And did I mention it has a background? - Jake
