"Manga Ga-Ga"
If you don't understand what makes this picture unique, you obviously aren't paying attention. But then, I'm the last one to talk.
The truth is back when Wonkeaux sent me this pin-up, I knew absolutely nothing about manga but pretended otherwise. I used examples like "Akira" and "Ninja Scroll" for my defense; hoping I wouldn't look like such a lost cause. But after he was done rolling his eyes (which I only suspect he did), Wonkeaux was kind enough to explain the difference between anime and manga. I had no idea this style of art was called Chibi nor did I realize there's a reason why many characters are drawn with big round eyes. It was embarassing, and as they say on the streets, I got schooled hard.
It's amazing how great this picture came out. If I tried to do the same thing, I know for certain I couldn't even come close to this. - Jake
