Sehera # 4
"Dark Holidays: Easter"
I suppose I could say something profound such as because Easter is the brightest of the holidays (color-wise), we thought we'd make it the darkest picture yet. Or I could go on about how this picture is so finely detailed that the effects unfortunately bled together. But to tell you the truth, there's just only one thing to say: we simply used too much ink. And I mean, WAY too much ink. Not enough to make it a bad drawing. Just a little more than we should have.
I like the drawing; very much that I still stand by my claim the pictures kept getting better and better. But all that credit goes to Sehera who not only tackled the inks as usual, but took it upon herself to re-draw the birds, suns and eggs in her own unique style. But perhaps my favorite aspect of the whole thing is how the shading of the bunny is so well balanced when it's entirely composed of thousands of swirls. Maybe I'm just being a geek but I think that's pretty cool. - Jake
